THIRTY MILLION children rely on school for food so during these school closures Save the Children and No Kid Hungry have a new fund called Save with Stories to support food banks, mobile meal trucks and community feeding programs to feed not only with food but with educational toys, books and worksheets to make sure their brains are nourished too. Today, I am going to read one of my favorite books, one that demonstrates the power of the human spirit. It's called Baseball Saved us by Ken Mochizuki and illustrated by Dom Lee.
